Data we process

• Account and social login identifiers from Google, Apple, or Facebook.
• Profile data such as name, handle, nationality, region, visa type, language, bio, age-related information, and profile image.
• User-generated content such as posts, comments, chat messages, uploaded images, uploaded audio, reports, blocks, likes, bookmarks, and follows.
• Optional location data when nearby discovery is enabled.
• Device, push token, server log, crash, security, payment, and subscription data needed for operation and fraud prevention.
• Google AdMob and advertising partners may process advertising identifiers, device and app information, IP-derived approximate location, app interactions, ad interactions, diagnostics, performance data, and related measurement data when ads or ad measurement are enabled.

Deletion and retention

Users can request account deletion in the app or through the public account deletion page. After deletion, profile, location, device tokens, social links, user content, and uploaded media are deleted, anonymized, or removed from public access.

Limited records may be retained when legally required or needed for security, billing, abuse prevention, or report handling.

Website analytics

The official website uses Google Analytics when a measurement ID is configured. This helps Inko understand page visits, download interest, SEO performance, traffic sources, approximate location such as country and city, language, device type, browser, and operating system without changing app account data.

Website analytics may use cookies or similar browser storage for measurement where permitted by law and platform settings.

Website analytics events must not include names, emails, phone numbers, account IDs, precise GPS location, or other directly identifying personal information.

Advertising and mobile identifiers

Inko may show ads to non-premium users in supported app surfaces. Premium subscribers should not receive in-app ads while their premium entitlement is active.

When Inko shows ads through Google AdMob, Google and advertising partners may process mobile advertising identifiers such as Android Advertising ID or iOS IDFA when available, IP address, IP-derived approximate location, device and app information, app interactions, ad interactions, diagnostics, performance data, and related measurement data.

These signals may be used to show ads, measure ad delivery and performance, prevent fraud and abuse, improve advertising services, and support analytics, subject to region, consent status, device settings, and ad personalization settings.

Users in regions where consent is required may be asked for advertising and measurement consent before personalized ads or related processing. Users can also use Android, iOS, and in-app privacy controls where available to limit ad personalization, reset advertising identifiers, or manage privacy choices.
